HAWAII JUVENILE COURT ATTORNEY
Juvenile Court Jurisdiction
Court may transfer case to adult court where:
- Any person who was 16+ at time of offense and who committed a felony and court finds not treatable in juvenile institution and community safety requires treatment as adult.
- Any person who was 14+ at time of offense and who committed a felony which resulted in serious bodily injury, constituted a class A felony, or where defendant has more than one prior felony conviction.
- Any person who was a under 18 at time of offense and accused of first or second degree murder or attempted murder.
