IDAHO DUI Attorney
Idaho Code 18-8005
A person convicted for DUI can have his drivers license suspended:
(1) for 30 days for a 1st offense. After the 30-day period of absolute suspension, the persons driving privileges can be suspended for an additional period of no less than 60 days but no more than 150 days, during which time the person may request restricted driving privileges. (2) for a subsequent offense, for a mandatory minimum period of 1 year, or a maximum period of 5 years, after release from imprisonment. Plus, the person can be required to drive only a vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock system following the mandatory suspension period.
