A person convicted for DUI, on a 1st or 2nd offense, can have his drivers license suspended for no less than 45 days nor more than 90 days.
Massachusetts Gen. Laws Ann. ch. 90, 22F
A person convicted for 3 or more DUI offenses within a 5-year period is deemed an habitual traffic offender. An habitual traffic offender cannot have his drivers license reinstated until at least 4 years after the date of revocation.
