(13) A person can have his drivers license revoked upon a 2nd or subsequent conviction for driving after consuming alcohol.
When a person has 2 or more previous convictions involving impaired driving, and the most recent offense occurred within 5 years of the present offense, the revocation is permanent. Upon a successful petition, the license can be reinstated after it has been revoked for at least 3 years.
