Statutory Rape & Child Molestation in North Carolina
- 14-27.2 First Degree Rape Any person who engages in vaginal intercourse with any person under 13 and where defendant is 12 years old or older and at least four years older than victim. (Class B1 Felony).
- 14-27.4 First Degree Sexual Offense Any person who engages in a sexual act with any person under 13 and where defendant is 12 years old or older and at least four years older than victim. (Class B1 Felony).
- 14-27.7A Statutory Rape Any person who engages in vaginal intercourse or a sexual act with any person 13, 14 or 15 years old and where defendant is at least 6 years older than victim. (Class B1 Felony); or, any person who engages in vaginal intercourse or a sexual act with any person 13, 14 or 15 years old and where defendant is more than 4 years older, but less than 6 years older, than the victim. (Class C Felony).
