Our client was convicted of Sex With a Minor and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Our client wanted to appeal this case, but was afraid that with his prior record, which contained felony charges, that he could possibly get a sentence worse than the 15 years he already had. The alleged victim came forward and claimed that all of the charges were false, so our attorney took on the appeal and fought the conviction. Due to the hard work of our attorney, the appellate court ruled in our client’s favor; the conviction was reversed, and our client’s case was remanded, granting him a new trial where he can once again try to prove his innocence.
