Sex Crimes Involving Victims that are Minors
Statutory Rape & Child Molestation
- 16-3-655(A) First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct Any person who engages in sexual intercourse, oral sex, anal sex, or penetration of any kind with any person under 11 years old. (10 to 30 years penalty.)
- 16-3-655(B)-(C) Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct Any person who engages in sexual intercourse, oral sex, anal sex, or penetration of any kind with any person 14 years old or under but is at least 11 years old; or, any person who engages in sexual intercourse, oral sex, anal sex, or penetration of any kind with a person at least 14 but under 16 and where defendant is older than victim or is in a position of authority related to victim. (Up to 20 years penalty.)
