(a) Where a police officer has reasonable grounds that a person is driving while intoxicated and the person refuses to submit to a sobriety test, the person can have his drivers license suspended for 6 months. Where the person submits to and fails a sobriety test, the person can have his drivers license suspended for 90 days. (m) For a 2nd offense, the period of suspension is 18 months. For a 3rd offense, the period of suspension is life.
